Description:

A synthesis of historical and recently collected data provides a characterization of the physical oceanographic and meteorological conditions in a portion of the tropical South Atlantic. The area, bounded by 5°S and 15°S and 20°W and 30°W, has been selected as a possible site for a grazing OTEC plant. This data synthesis is part of a larger package required to evaluate the potential of the area for OTEC operations.
