Description:The San Lorenzo Valley Water District proposes to improve/reconstruct an existing concrete fish ladder and diversion intake in Fall Creek, a tributary to the San Lorenzo River, located in Felton, California. In the Biop, we conclude, the Project is not likely to jeopardize the continued existence of endangered Central California Coast (CCC) coho salmon or threatened CCC steelhead, nor is the Project likely to result in the destruction or adverse modification of critical habitat for CCC coho salmon or CCC steelhead. Regarding EFH, we determined that the proposed project would adversely affect EFH for coho salmon managed under the Pacific Coast Salmon Fishery Management Plan (FMP), but provide no EFH conservation recommendations.
