• Description:
  This report is for the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council (MAFMC). The purpose of this report is to synthesize ecosystem information to better meet fshery management objectives, and to update the MAFMC’s Ecosystem Approach to Fishery Management (EAFM) risk assessment. The major messages of the report are synthesized on pages 1 and 2, and synthesis themes are illustrated on page 3. The information in this report is organized into two sections; performance measured against ecosystem-level management objectives (Table 1), and potential risks to meeting fshery management objectives (climate change and other ocean uses).
