Description:As part of the EPOCS program, free-drifting buoys have been deployed in the equatorial Pacific since 1979 to study the variations of sea surface temperatures and currents in the areas. This data report covers the history and behavior of those buoys successfully reporting and deployed from August 21, 1980 through April 30, 1982. A total of 17 buoys are included in this report.
