Description:The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Coral Health and Monitoring Program has cooperated with the Florida Institute of Oceanography in developing a near real-time marine environmental monitoring and reporting system. Using the latest in object-oriented analysis techniques, this report describes how data are retrieved from satellite data and archiving facilities, then reformatted for presentation via a remote bulletin board system and facsimile.
