This report includes results for a study comparing review speeds of electronic monitoring (EM) data from the Hawaiʻi longline fisheries (deep-set and shallow-set fisheries) and was funded by the National Catch Share Program and Magnuson-Stevens Act Implementation Temp Funds from fiscal year 2019. The intent of the study was to determine accuracy of detection at three different speeds for EM video review, including review of video with known protected species interactions, and to outline best practices for EM data reviewers.
