Description:Suspended particulate matter, temperature and salinity data are presented from seven monthly sampling cruises in the New York Bight. The purpose of the sampling was to examine the temporal and spatial distribution of particulates discharged from the Hudson- Raritan estuary. The data was collected using water bottles and probes at 41 stations along six transects from mid-March through early September 1979.
