Description:

The CRFDP continued its active involvement in enhancement of the northwest fisheries resource in FY 1983. Six Federal and eighteen State rearing facilities were funded. In addition, fishway and irrigation diversion fish screen O&M as well as quality improvement studies were also funded. Cooperative agreements were signed between the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) and the following agencies: the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Washington Department of Fisheries (WDF), Washington Department of Game (WDG), Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW), and Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG).
