Description:This contract was let to assess the potential of chromosomal banding analyses in defining subspecific units of pelagic dolphins in the eastern tropical Pacific. To conduct the necessary research, the investigation collected tissue samples from accidentally killed dolphins and conducted storage viability tests and cytogenetic analyses on them. Recommendations are made for a follow-up study.
