Description:"We developed stochastic stage-based life cycle models for populations of spring/summer-run Chinook salmon in the Snake River basin and for spring-run Chinook salmon in the Wenatchee River. The population models were developed with retrospective data that described demographic rates for transitions between life stages throughout the life cycle. We also included environmental forcing functions for several of these transitions. We developed life stage-specific functions independently, and then linked them together into the life cycle models (LCMs)"--Executive summary.
