Description:The objective of this data report is to provide data that supports annual estimates of P. halibut bycatch in the U.S. West Coast groundfish fisheries (Jannot et al. 2020). Specifically, the data presented here include the weighted length frequencies from observed P. halibut fishing on limited entry trawl vessels (2002–10) and in the catch share (a.k.a., individual fishing quotas, or IFQ) fisheries. For full explanation of fisheries definitions, data sources, and P. halibut bycatch estimation, please consult Jannot et al. 2020.
