Description:"Personnel from the Coral Reef Ecosystem Program (CREP) and Scientific Operations Division of the NOAA Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center, University of Hawai 'i at Manoa (UHM), Scripps Oceanographic Institution (SIO), and San Diego State University (SDSU) conducted interdisciplinary surveys of benthos, fishes, and oceanographic parameters related to climate change in coastal waters across the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands as part of the National Coral Reef Monitoring Plan (NCRMP). All activities described in this report were covered by the following permits and authorizations: Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument Permit No. 2016-023 (effective date: 29 August 2016, expiration date: 30 September 2016); Environmental Assessment (PIFSC- 20100901); Endangered Species Act, Section 7 consultation (PIR-2015- 9580); U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Permit: USACE POH-2009-00083 (effective date: 18 March 2014; expiration date 18 March 2017)"--Type of operation.
