Description:This study researches past tornado occurrences in Washington to identify elements conducive for tornado potential. Tornadic events were examined through composites and case study analysis. The composites revealed either southwest or northwest mid- and upper-level flow regimes. Environments more favorable for classic supercell development were implied from the southwest flow cases.
