Description:"The second national Heavy Precipitation Workshop, scheduled to be held in Asilomar, California in March 1989, was unfortunately canceled after much of the organization and preparation had been completed. Hopefully, it can be planned for a later date. In the meantime, some of the scheduled speakers agreed to submit their topics to the Western Region Scientific Services Division as papers for publication.
