Description:A number of pairs of different independent parameters from the Yucca Flat soundings are used as the dimensions on a computer plot of the occurrences of gusty winds on Lake Mead. The study was limited to the months from April through September and covered the years from 1967-1973. The 12Z sounding was used with the observed winds used being limited to is hours subsequent to the sounding.
