Description:A Iow aIoft deveIoped aIong the Oregon-northern CaIifornia coast in ApriI 1974. This cold low and associated upper level trough continued inland producing a variety of abnormal weather over the Region. Tropical moisture became involved with this system producing areas of locally heavy precipitation. This paper summaries events preceding, during, and as the low was weakening and moving northeast.
