Description:"During January and March of 1995, much of California was struck by extremely heavy precipitation, causing extensive property damage and loss of life. Estimates now show over $3 billion in damages and 27 lives claimed by the flooding. The American Red Cross estimates that over 10,000 homes were damaged or destroyed. This report provides a brief review of the storms which caused the flooding, details of some of the damage, and precipitation statistics and maps for the events"--Introduction.
