Description:IN the first portion of third report we shall study the properties of a number of finite-difference schemes currently used in boundary layer models. We shall do this by introducing a computational diffusion coefficient, Kc, which usually differs markedly from the physical diffusion coefficient, K for show Fourier component waves.
