Description:As part of NOAA's Nutrient Enhanced Coastal Ocean Productivity (NECOP) program, scientists working on the University of Texas R/V LONGHORN surveyed shelf waters of the Gulf of Mexico from Port Aransas, Texas to east of the Mississippi River delta. The study began July 1 and ended July 12,1993. Using the onboard CTD (conductivity, temperature, and depth) sampling system, vertical water profiles were obtained for temperature, salinity, density, light transmission (beam c), oxygen, and fluorescence. This technical memorandum describes the data and the methods used for data collection and processing.
