  • Description:
"The purpose of this QASP is to describe the technical scope of work to be completed as part of this emergency response. The objective of this study is to conduct ambient air monitoring and sampling to assess the environmental and human health impact of the in-situ burn process and impacts from the volatilization of the crude oil, in addition to surface water and sediment sampling. In the event of future burns and depending on where the oil comes ashore, additional air, surface water, and sediment monitoring plans will need to be generated to include affected sites"--P. 3.
