Description:"This paper describes, in some detail, a case of severe elevated convection that occurred over the Ohio Valley on March 22-23, 1995, with a focus on the environment in which the thunderstorms occurred. Comparisons are made between this event and the findings from Colman (1984, 1990a, and 1990b). Section 2 describes the data used in this study, while section 3 reviews the climatology of elevated convection. Section 4p resents the synoptic overview from both the dynamic and thermodynamic perspectives, and section 5 discusses radar observations during the event. Lastly, section 6p resents a summary"--Introduction.
